Mastering Passing Is Integral To Winning A FIFA 11 PS3 Tournaments
To win a FIFA 11 PS3 tournament you need to master the basics; shooting, tackling and passing. The most important of all being passing. In FIFA there are various ways in which you can pass the ball and to beat the better the players you need to be able to perform all in the blink of an eye. Doing so will give you a much better chance of winning a tournament online or live.
One of part of the game that is integral to everything is passing and in FIFA this is no different. There are several types of pass that you will need to master in order to beat the better players in online tournaments. The most basic of all the moves is the short pass which can be accomplished by the depressing of the X button and holding the Left analogue stick in the direction you wish the ball to be played. The game also takes into consideration the length you hold down the X button too so depending on the distance away a team mate is should determine how long you hold the X button for.
The long pass in FIFA 11 can be used to quickly counter attack your opposition, this is particularly effective if you have fast strikers, the long pass can be performed by holding the O button and again holding the LS in the direction you wish to play the ball. This is also the way to switch the play however you need to hold the LS up or down depending on your position. The long pass is slightly harder to master and again I would advise practicing this on the training pitch.
The through ball is one of the most decisive and easiest (once mastered) ways to break through your opposition. The through ball can be performed by pressing the triangle button again the length you hold down the button will decide how hard the through ball is played. A through ball played with the correct weight can ensure your striker will always get on the end of it.
Once through balls have been mastered you should look to start to play one-twos, this type of pass creates more off the ball runs from your players and as such makes them difficult to mark and potentially get into more goalscoring positions. To play a one-two hold the L1 button whilst playing a normal pass, the passer will then make a forward run. When the passer has found space play the ball back to him by performing a simple pass again, or if in an advanced position you could play the a through ball instead.
But by far the best way in FIFA to create goalscoring opportunities is to play the one-two with a lobbed through ball. To do this hold L1 and press X to make the initial pass, the passer will then make a forward run. As the player gets inline with the oppositions defence simply hold R1 and press and hold the triangle button to acquire the right amount of power on the pass to successfully clear the defence and dribble your attacker to the goal for shot.
Make sure that you can perform every pass in the training mode and then advance to playing against the AI, once you can perform every pass without thinking of what to press move onto online games, playing real life people, always vary your play and never become repetitive. A good player is a player who can attack with in a variety of ways
The best tips to win a FIFA 11 PS3 tournament is to practice, practice, practice and ensure you can perform the basics well, in reality a team that can do the basics will often defeat a team who perform a vast array of party tricks. Barcelona are a prime example despite every player being able to perform every ball skill under the sun, they keep it simple and pass the ball. In FIFA 11 the game is the same keep the ball and wait for your opponent to get out of position and vulnerable.

A Quick NBA Live 2010 Video Game Review For PlayStation Or Xbox
This is an NBA Live game review for PlayStation and Xbox. NBA Live is one of EA's most popular video games. Each year, numerous basketball games are released but NBA Live's yearly version always seems to be among the front runners. 2010's edition is no different, with its quality graphics, user input, and animations, this very last version of NBA Live has received extremely positive reviews.
NBA Live 2010 featured additional jerseys, a first for the franchise. Throwback jerseys from the 1980s and 1990s were added in as well as several alternate ones for a number of teams. Using special codes, even more uniforms and shoes can be unlocked. It is unsure if every team will receive new game jerseys but two codes have been announced so far and more are likely to come.
The game's graphics also received a massive overhaul. It features smoother and quicker animations that allow for a more maximum play. Items like the courts and lights were designed to look more realistic. When enhanced on a plasma screen, the game is grainier but overall looks extremely well. Other less important things like the crowd and the athletes are more detailed too. Unlike the other game editions, this latest NBA Live console game has a much better background. The audience in the stands were programmed to appear more realistic and believable. Even the athletes in general were give more detailed and personal touches like their arm tattoos, various hairstyles, and other personal accessories. The different stars in this game were designed to be more simply recognized than past editions. The controls of the game were slightly altered so that controlling the individual players 100 percent of the time isn't necessary. This auto mode can sometimes result in more turnovers during game play though. It is possible for the control over the players to be expanded if you want to though. Game play on this year's NBA Live was made simple enough so that even someone who has never played any basketball video games will still be able to get the hang of it. Actions like passing and shooting are single button functions. Both of the PlayStation and Xbox use the main joy stick on the controllers to move the players around. It is simple to play defense as well, just position one of the basketball players in front of one from the opposing team will result in the sim automatically doing the rest.
The revamp of the players' DNA from previous versions has largely improved too. The last edition's DNA will update each NBA player's abilities and attitudes nearly instantly. This latest version will also let players to compete in real games nearly as they occur in real time. And with the NBA's rosters and change ups updating immediately inside the game, it means for a much better Dynasty Mode too.
The soundtrack was updated and revamped for this version to include more current bands and artists. There are more songs this year and that cuts down drastically on the music's redundancy during the game and training mode. They were programmed to change and react to the beat of the games.
